We’ve discussed closet basics before, but not like this! In the winter there are a couple different types of sweaters and tops that complete any outfit. They can transition from work to a Saturday running errands – effortlessly, but when purchasing outfit completers we suggest that you have two sets. That way you won’t confuse, lose or out-wear your clothing. Some classic work tops include cashmere v-neck sweaters, crew neck sweaters and turtlenecks. They complete a pants, a dress or a skirt outfit – how easy?! Today we’ve rounded up our favorite tops for the working woman. An ivory silk blouse. long sleeve shirt, sweater or jacket is the easiest way to wear multiple outfits with less pieces of clothing in your closet.

Day-to-Night Delight

Tell us: how many holiday parties do you have planned between today and Christmas? With the new year a mere two weeks away, your calendar is probably full of events! How fun? Are any of them after work? This tends to be the busiest time of year for not only parties, but for businesses too! Wrapping up budgets and preparing for time off can be super stressful. Getting from work to a party can cause unnecessary anxiety. Instead of bringing a change of clothes to work, why not bring a change of accessories? For daytime opt for a structured blazer or jacket over a faux wrap dress. At night slip into some gorgeous baubles and a red lip! It’s so easy to change up your outfit from day-to-night! Moving In On Metallics

Just like leather, there is a right and wrong way to do metallic. Gold and silver metallic make for wonderful neutrals. They can jazz up an outfit or simply complete it. Depending on the time of year, we tend to shy away from metallic shirts and pants (holidays are okay), and opt instead for metallic accessories. An accessory could include a shiny scarf, pretty nail polish, embellished flat, zippy purse or evening clutch. Because dark colors and jewel tones set the tone for fall it’s really fun to play up your metallic game. Keep them in motion! We promise – you won’t regret it!

We wear pink baubles and ensembles, we eat pink cake and ice cream, we toast with pink champagne and we enjoy freshly, cut pink peonies. Pink is such a warm,feminine and loving color.
