Teal & Coral

Untitled #128
We all need wash and wear in our life. You know – the kind of clothes that can take you from the soccer field to dinner with your family. They can go through the wash (not the dry cleaner thank god). They can leave you feeling confident, casual, cute and put together!     So why not make sure you pop in some color? A teal and coral combo is SO cute! Take some inspo from this post for your next spring shopping spree. XO

Into The Spring With…

Untitled #126

Different sunnies! In different shapes and shades, because hopefully a change in season means – MORE SUN! We know, we know – it snowed. And man is it tough. This weather is not ideal, but last year we were buried deep in snow – some comparably – it’s a light dusting. So why not encourage the sun, send some positive, sunny vibes into the universe with a new pair of sunglasses. And the ones featured above are the ones we are currently crushing on! XO

A Little Bit of Sass

Untitled #102

When I first started working for Kyle I thought I had style, but the more I started to understand clothes and colors and textures and fabrics, the better I got. She has a way with making an outfit look classic, but still  bit sassy. Take this ensemble for instance! Black pants, black boots and a simple striped tee is the ultimate casually cool look, but add a fur vest and you’re chic and sassy side just came out! And talk about the perfect piece for winter! XO

5 Black Shoes You Need

Untitled #94
Let’s go back to the (shoe) basics – shall we? We shall! So – every season we switch out our shoes. It’s not like you’re wearing boots in August – right? Right. Okay so there are the basic shoes you need in your closet every season and then it’s easy to build upon the basics – just like if we are talking about clothes. Today we are listing the 5 basics for fall and winter (excluding winter boots that are necessary for snow)! Flats, pumps, booties, riding boots and heeled boots. They are interchangeable and go with many different outfits – depending on where you’re going and who you’re seeing! Flats and riding boots are the more casual of the five, while the heeled boots, booties and heels are the dressier of the five. All in all the five choices shown will transition you through every weather and event you have going on this holiday season! XO

Step Into Fall

Untitled #78
Let’s start slow with all this fall talk, shall we? The difference between shopping for fall/winter and summer/spring is huge. Fall means pulling out jewel tones, flats, boots, cashmere, sweaters, coats! The list is endless, because you need all those layers we hate so much (don’t hate us for mentioning the L word in August). So we’re starting slow! Flats! We’re assuming some of you wear flats to work even now, but in the fall it’s fun to switch up your color scheme. Instead of coral or nude, try a navy blue or a yummy cognac. Pair these with sheath dresses, jeans, skirts and dress pants. They’re easy to wear instead of heels, traveling to the office! Or even on the weekends – getting your errands done! So step into fall with a brand new pair of flats! Your confidence will soar! XO

A Breathe of Fresh Air

Untitled #64
One of our favorite parts of summer is the chance to get dressed up and hit the town. One thing I’ve always admired about Kyle is that she makes a special date night plan with her husband, Brian, for Wednesday night. It breaks up the week by allowing the two to reconnect and enjoy each others company. Plus – who wouldn’t want the opportunity to get out of the house and get a little dressed up? We’ve created a casual, yet VERY CUTE ensemble that is perfect for a date night or a wine night (with the girls). It’s flirty and fun! The perfect summer look.

Summer BrEAZE

Untitled #59
You know whats easy about summer? Dresses. Yes – we hear you grumbling or looking at us with one eyebrow raised. But dresses are easy to slip on, add a cardigan and either flats or wedges too and off you go! How simple? One of the first things we recommend to clients on-the-go are wash and wear, knit dresses from places like Banana Republic, LOFT, Old Navy and Nordstrom. The silhouettes are flattering and the colors are perfect for summer! And if you haven’t invested in some lightweight knit cardigans for summer – we suggest you do! Cashmere and wool just aren’t going to be your friend in these summer temps!

Weekend Wear

Thank god it’s Friday!
Has this week felt long? It has, hasn’t it?
If your weekend plans include a trip to the farmers market, errands upon errands, a movie date or a quiet moment in a coffee shop, we have put together the perfect outfit for you! By now the snow has started to melt and flats are semi-acceptal. Depending on the weather it may be time to give those boots a break and take the ballet flats for a spin! Stick to camel and glittery neutrals for a comfortable, chic look!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Happy St. Patricks Day, friends!
We love this day for two very special reasons. Not only is it a great mid-week event, it’s our mascots birthday! And we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate him.
Happy Birthday Oliver Twist!
We hoped to inspire you today with a gorgeous, green, printed dress from one of our favorites, Tory Burch! You can dress this up and dress this down, making it the perfect addition to your wardrobe.
Have a great holiday!
